This agreement is entered into between the participant and Al Hekma International School (AHIS) for the purpose of the participant’s participation in the AHISMUN VIII Conference.
By registering for and participating in AHISMUN, the participant acknowledges, understands, and agrees to adhere to the following terms, rules, and regulations.
1. General Conduct
Participants must maintain professionalism, respect, and integrity throughout the conference.
The participant shall respect the cultural sensitivities, values, and diversity of all individuals involved in AHISMUN.
Any form of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
The practice of the “Gossip Box” is officially discontinued.
2. Attendance and Punctuality
Participants must attend all scheduled sessions, committee meetings, and events on time.
Late arrivals or absences without valid justification may result in disqualification or disciplinary action.
Delegates, chairs, and press members must wear their official badges and follow the dress code at all times.
3. Supervision and Conduct During the Conference
Each committee will have the presence of an AHISMUN alumni member, a supervising teacher, or a volunteer parent for oversight and guidance.
Participants are expected to cooperate respectfully with all AHISMUN officials, volunteers, and school staff.
Inappropriate conduct, including misuse of facilities or violation of campus policies, will lead to immediate consequences.
4. Compliance and Disciplinary Actions
If a participant is found not complying with AHISMUN’s rules and regulations or failing to fulfill their assigned responsibilities, the AHISMUN team and AHIS staff reserve the right to take disciplinary measures.
This includes, but is not limited to, escorting the participant off campus and revoking their position, whether such actions occur before, during, or after the conference.
Such decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
5. Financial Terms
All participation fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including withdrawal, disqualification, or expulsion from the conference.
Payment confirms the participant’s full agreement to these terms.
6. Liability and Responsibility
AHIS and the AHISMUN organizing team are not liable for personal loss, damage to belongings, or injuries incurred during the event.
Participants are expected to behave responsibly and ensure the safety and well-being of others.
7. Acknowledgment
By signing or submitting registration, the participant confirms:
Full understanding of all AHISMUN VIII Rules & Regulations.
Agreement to abide by the authority of the AHISMUN and AHIS staff.
Awareness that violation of these terms may result in removal from the conference without refund.
